About

There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Atlanta.
Riding on a Segway isn’t rocket science, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a large city like Atlanta. So this tour begins with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. Additionally, all passengers must weigh between 100 and 300 pounds to participate.
With the training out of the way, it’s time to hit the open road.
On this Segway tour around Atlanta, cruise along to the quirky Cabbagetown neighborhood on the city’s east side. This former mill town is now home to amazing artistry and eats—some of the best food in Atlanta, in fact. Continue to the nearby Oakland Cemetery, the oldest cemetery and one of the largest green spaces in Atlanta. Check out the spectacular view of the Atlanta skyline from here.
Then in the Old Fourth Ward is the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, featuring several buildings, including Martin Luther King, Jr.'s childhood home and the original Ebenezer Baptist Church, where he was not only baptized, but also where he and his father were pastors.
Roll through the Inman Park neighborhood, Atlanta's first planned community and one of the nation's first garden suburbs. This U.S. Historic District was also part of the battlefield in the Civil War’s Battle of Atlanta in 1864. Then travel along the Atlanta BeltLine, the former railway corridor around the core of the city that is a model of innovative redevelopment.
Finally, return to the downtown starting point a lot wiser about Atlanta’s past and present.
