Stories of Old Savannah is a walking tour exploring Savannah's storied past. On this tour, you will learn about Savannah's history through the words of a passionate local guide. Savannah, Georgia, is known for being one of the most historic cities in North America. You'll learn about topics such as The Founding of Savannah, The Revolutionary War and Battle of Savannah, Savannah's Capture during the Civil War, Famous Savannahians and their mansions, and much more!
*Please bring water and protection from the sun if sensitive to heat. Dress appropriately for the weather with comfortable footwear. You may also want to bring bug spray. Here you will discuss the history of this cemetery. You will get to briefly get to go inside the cemetery, if possible.
At this stop you will hear about the history of Oglethorpe Square and learn why Oglethorpe's monument is in another square.
