We will visit a number of notable properties during the Discovering Colonial Philadelphia Public Walking Tour. We will see buildings that go back almost to the founding of the city in 1682, in styles such as Georgian, Federal, and many Revival styles and will learn about important events in American history along the way.

The original Anglican Church where Andrew Hamilton. Pierce Butler, and Robert Morris are buried
Location of Ben Franklin's home
Home of the 1st Continental Congress
Greek revival bank. First all marble facade in the US
Home of the 2nd Continental Congress where the Declaration of Independence was created. Also the Philadelphia Convention of 1787 that created the Constitution.
