Itinerary

Your tour starts on South Street - one of the most vibrant and eclectic neighborhoods of Philadelphia. From here, your guide will lead you through the surrounding neighborhoods, weaving through hidden alleys that are home to quaint homes and incredible public art.
Throughout your tour, you'll weave in and out of the streets and alleys of Bella Vista, the neighborhood surrounding the Italian Market and Magic Gardens. Here, you'll see how Philadelphia's first suburb has changed in the last 200+ years, including beautiful homes, gardens, and public art.
Unlike anything you've seen or experienced before, visiting the Magic Gardens is to take a trip into Wonderland. This incredible larger-than-life 3D art installation is the life's work of Isaiah Zagar - and a living piece where he still works regularly. Merging the profound with the ridiculous, the philosophical with the everyday, Zagar captures the imagination with his work - showing us how many men's trash can become our collective treasure. Once we arrive, you'll have as much time as you want to explore the space. When your official tour time is up, you're welcome to stay for longer, or venture out onto South Street for a different type of colorful experience.
