About

If there’s one thing Washington D.C. is known for, it’s donuts. That’s not true, but it should be—you’ll taste and see why on this tour. Following your guide, you’ll travel from local donut institutions to the joints favored by politicians, exploring from cake and raised classics to the global donuts of Chinatown. Bonus: You’ll also catch views of the White House, learn about the city’s non-donut history, and more.

Highlights

Fresh donut samples provided across several stops
Get all the fun of a walking tour—but with more flavor
Taste your way from Lafayette Square to Palmer Alley and beyond
Mix donut fun with city history, learning about D.C.'s Civil War past and more

Itinerary

We'll begin our donut adventure here, at Paul's Bakery inside the Western Market. This is also very close to the White House, which we'll stop by on our route.
We'll walk by the White House and provide a brief history of it and our nation's history, along with some fun donut history to go with it.
Palmer Alley is a cute site off the beaten path. We think you'll love it.
We'll walk near and around the Chinatown neighborhood.
We'll end the tour at CityCenterDC. This is a very new complex in DC and we have a great surprise at the end of the tour here.
