Partnership helps property managers connect guests with curated tours and activities by voice or text while keeping the manager at the center of the guest relationship

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Explorabout, a platform that connects vacation rental guests with curated local experiences, today announced a partnership with Una by Polydom, an AI digital employee built for hospitality.

Through the partnership, property managers that participate in Explorabout can add Una to their websites at partner pricing. Guests can ask questions by voice or text, get recommendations from the manager's Explorabout curated collection and book an experience at any time, including outside regular office hours.

Explorabout curates tours, activities and concierge services for each destination and makes them available through the property manager's own website. The company also provides in-property QR codes and promotional materials to help guests find those experiences. There is no fee for property managers to join Explorabout, and participating managers receive a share of the commission when a guest books local experiences.

Una adds round-the-clock conversation and booking support to that offering. A guest looking for a boat tour late in the evening, for example, can ask Una about available options and take the next step without waiting for the property management team to reopen. Human escalation remains available when a request requires personal attention.

"Guests often ask what there is to do when our partners' teams are off the clock," said Karen Piscitelli, founder and CEO of Explorabout. "Bringing Una into the experience gives guests a useful answer when they need it and makes it easier to book with a trusted local operator. It also keeps the property manager connected to a part of the trip guests are likely to remember."

The partnership comes as demand for in-destination activities continues to grow. According to Phocuswright's Travel Experiences 2026 report, bookings in the global experiences market grew 17% in 2024, compared with 6% for travel overall. Yet an estimated 33% of experiences were booked online in 2025, compared with 64% of the broader travel market.

That gap is especially important for small tour and activity businesses. Phocuswright estimates that more than 70% of experience operators are small or microbusinesses. By featuring curated local operators in a direct guest channel, Explorabout and Una aim to make those businesses easier for travelers to discover and book.

The partnership is available now to property managers in Explorabout's current markets.
