Grateful for the Journey: Reflections from the Vacation Rental Women's Summit

‍Where It All Started

Thanksgiving 2017. That's where this story sparked an idea. Read through the guest book and learn how families enjoyed the beautiful house surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, but page after page guests reflect on their wonderful memories from the experiences they had. Guests raved about apple picking, the waterfall, and horseback riding as the highlight of the trip, just as Thanksgiving was unforgettable. Those were local experiences that transformed their stay into something they'd never forget.

That guest book crystallized something for me that has become the foundation of everything we’re building today: The better the experience, the bigger the memory.

Why I Was So Excited to Be at VRWS

Standing in that room in Charleston, connecting with so many incredible women in the vacation rental industry, felt like coming full circle. I was there to connect and to serve, two things that have always driven me, throughout my career and in this adventure.

The Shift That Changes Everything

This is exactly why we’re building this platform to connect Tour Operators and Property managers. We're bringing tour operators and vacation property managers together, to offer guests the best hyper-local experiences. 

A Message I Hope Resonates

If there's one thing I wanted everyone to take away from my time on stage, it's this: Follow your passion, whatever it is. Know that you can do anything you set your mind to, and just believe in yourself.

Charleston, you were the perfect setting for this conversation and we are proud to launch in your amazing, beautiful and historic city. Cheers to the power of experiences, the value of hospitality, and the magic that happens when we bring people together around something meaningful.

I left that stage energized, inspired, and more committed than ever to the vision: bringing the best of local experiences to every guest, through partnerships between Property Managers and the Tour Operators who create the adventures.

Because at the end of the day, it's those memories we're really building, one experience at a time.
